I am home
I have a chest tube, but I am home. I slept in my own bed for the first time in two weeks. It was bliss. Love, Ang

This blog has been set up as a means for our dear friend, Angela, to journal her thoughts as she fights cancer and also a way to keep all of her friends and family up to speed on how things are going. By creating this communication vehicle, hopefully she can focus on keeping herself in strong fighting mode without having to worry about making sure she keeps everyone informed.

A Mantra for Ang:
Your version:
I pray for the strength to meet the challenges of each new day with a clear head and on open heart. I will let go of the rest.
My version:
I pray for Ang to have the strength to meet the challenges of each new day with a clear head and an open heart. May she let go of the rest.
You are in my heart and my thoughts...always.
So glad you're home, sweetie. So sorry you had to spend so much unexpected & additional time in the hospital. Breathe deeply. You've been in trenches and aren't out yet, but will be soon. You are doing an amazing job. I'm thinking of you, as always.

Welcome home, Angie. I pray you never leave it again!
So glad you are home - the hood wasn't the same without you!
Nothing like your own bed. Now rest and relax.
Love, Vivian

Hospitals are SUCH FUN !!!
I did not know they let people go home with chest tubes !!
Or walk to the store !!
Take care my friend.
You are on the prayer chain at my church.
