Coming out of it and looking forward to next week

Well, I am coming out of this again and looking forward to another good week. Boys are coming home this afternoon of which I am so thankful. Next Tuesday, I will have my first CT scan since diagnosis. This is the earliest that we can know progress and, as I have been advised, we may not get much news but we are going to try anyway. Wednesday I meet with the oncologist to talk about next steps. While I am hopeful, I am scared to death. I so badly want good news. Time will tell, but for now, I look forward to seeing my boys, hearing about their adventures at Grandma and Grandpa's, smelling behind their ears, and seeing the sun come through their hair. Well, back to washing EVERYTHING.... Have a great day - mine is shaping up to be - Love, Ang

You ask why you get "special" treatment, it is because people see in you what we your friends see. A good (most of the time) and decent person who cares about others and GENUINELY likes people. You have interviewed hundreds of people and you have a well developed "bullshit" detection meter, I do also and you are the real goods, what you see is what WE get. Those of who love you salute you and say you deserve every last bit of "special" treatment. Love as always Pat&Mag

But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness for which we hope.

Angie- Alex, Mom, Laura and I keep saying prayers for you. They ask how you are and I tell them you are stronger than ever. I am glad to read you got "unplugged". I think of you always, sorry that my back doesn't allow me to help with household chores. You have done so much good in your life that I know you will be rewarded with a miracle and recovery. Love you so much- Lizette.

I love the sweet comments and all the support you get, Ang. You deserve it. I want you to know that I am praying for you, always, and have asked everyone I keep in touch with to pray for you also.

But...I just gotta say this. You know me. I'm trying to get a visual on a scan of your...um...you know, "back porch". And I gotta ask..."How weird is it to have pictures taken of your butt?" Ha, ha,ha. I love you and miss you, girl.
